While-You-Wait Sharpening
Sharpening is available while-you-wait, any day except Sunday.
Knives – $5.00
We sharpen most metal kitchen, pocket, and hunting knives, and there is no extra charge for minor repair or reshaping. We sharpen serrated knives, and can reserrate knives with damaged teeth. We will individually price large or custom work.

Scissors – $6.00
We sharpen kitchen shears, sewing scissors, and pinking shears.
We do not sharpen electric clipper blades or convex beauty or grooming shears, but our friend Breanna does. She accepts mail-in sharpening, and does on-site sharpening with us on a regular basis. Call us (608-204-0560) to find out when she’ll be doing on-site with us next.
Garden Tools – $8.00
We sharpen pruners, loppers, axes, hatchets, mauls, sickles, scythes, hoes, shovels, machetes and more.
We do not sharpen saw blades.
Lawnmower Blades – $10.00
We sharpen balance lawnmower blades. Blades must arrive clean to ensure proper balance. We do not clean lawnmower blades.
We do not sharpen non-motorized (reel type) lawn mower blades or electric trimmers, but our friends at Moleta Artisinal Sharpening do. We can usually arrange pickup and delivery with a one-week turnaround. Call us (608-204-0560) to arrange.
Ceramic Knives – $10.00
Paper Cutters - $1.50 per inch
Paper cutters are not a while-you-wait sharpening item. Please remove the blade from the cutting arm (DO NOT remove the entire cutting arm,) and wrap it safely to bring it in. In most cases, turnaround will be less than 24 hours, not including Sundays.
